Men of Dignity
Men of Dignity is the men’s ministry of Oasis of Praise. Our men’s ministry is created to help facilitate growth among the men through the word and fellowship believing that God wants men to begin to regain their birthright through their conversion from sin to Jesus. This ministry is about building men for the work of God helping them regain their dignity – a person worthy of esteem, honor and exaltation. Men of Dignity is not only a ministry that encourages spiritual growth but also good health, economics, and social strength.
Women of Gravity
Women of Gravity is the women’s ministry of Oasis of Praise. Our women’s ministry is about building women to take on the nature of the word of God so they can become Women of Gravity – solemn, earnest, and serious about the things of God. This ministry is designed to develop closer fellowship through sharing, caring and praying together.
Youth 4 God (Y4G)
Y4G is the youth ministry of Oasis of Praise. The youth ministry is built around our young people. This ministry is about developing the young person spiritually & socially in the word of God, but also teaching them the importance of education. Y4G is also the host of FLN – Friday Night Live, a late evening ministry that draws youth off the street and into the house of God for a time of activities, fellowship, food, and video games.
C.I.E.L.O. Children's Ministry
C.I.E.L.O. – Spanish for “Heaven” is Christ In Every Little One. The children’s ministry of Oasis of Praise is designed to train our children in the service of the Lord. This ministry offers children ages 2 ½ to 10 bible centered curriculum and fun activities. Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”
Couples Ministry
The Couples Ministry is about family. As Oasis of Praise we believe that a strong family makes a strong church. We focus on encouraging the couples in the Lord, admonishing them through the word of God and fellowship. The couple’s ministry is approached from a wholesome perspective realizing that though we are saved we still live in these earthly bodies and there are things that must be accomplished while we live in this present world. Couples are encouraged to have strong communication, a prayer life and learning how to work through the hardest of times.
Unmarried Ministry
The Unmarried Ministry is a ministry developed to minister to unmarried people in the church. Through fellowship and spiritual teaching the Unmarried Ministry teaches the importance of having a good relationship with God, purpose, economic stability, social awareness and preparations before marriage.
Evangelism Ministry
The evangelism ministry is designed to minister to the world the gospel of Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 4:3 “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost”. Evangelism is the heartbeat of the church. This ministry reaches out to the lost through door to door evangelism, tent revivals, night prayer walks & evangelism.
Missions Ministry
The mission’s ministry is established to reach outside the walls of the church to reach those who are less fortunate. The mission’s ministry reaches out through foreign missions and local homeless missions. The church sets aside once every other month a special mission’s worship service to highlight the importance of missions.
Kingdom Innovators
Kingdom Innovators is a ministry designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in those who desire to go into business for themselves. Entrepreneurs come together once a month to learn biblical principles to run and grow their businesses within a kingdom mindset.
Ministerial Training
The Ministerial Training Course is designed to prepare and enhance those involved in ministry on what it is to demonstrate integrity in the ministry and servanthood. Oasis of Praise interfaces with Regents Theological College and Talbot School of Theology at Biola University to develop a custom course of studies through online lectures by some of the top bible scholars in the world, each an expert in their respective fields of study.
This course will equip those who either aspire for ministry leadership or are licensed and ordained in the Lord’s church with a stronger biblical understanding of the scriptures, homiletics, hermeneutics and the work of the ministry to the edifying of the body of Christ. In addition, the course includes a comprehensive study of Church History (Eurocentric + African Pedagogy) authored by Apostle Levell Thomas.
This course will equip those who either aspire for ministry leadership or are licensed and ordained in the Lord’s church with a stronger biblical understanding of the scriptures, homiletics, hermeneutics and the work of the ministry to the edifying of the body of Christ.
